You have maybe 3 seconds to get the shots of the Belted Kingfisher when it dives for fish. The kingfisher is travelling at up to 25mph when it hits the water, it's long thin beak entering the water without a ripple. The unsuspecting fish can be two feet under the surface and still not be safe from kingfisher who is diving blind with it's eyes closed! Colwood British Columbia.
