This Willow Ptarmigan was almost invisible until it moved.

Great shot of this one. They are so hard to see and when you do they can be a real challenge to get a decent shot. You were spot on with this one in every way, capturing all the detail in the bird as you were able to isolate it from the snowy surroundings. Awesome image

Great shot Jane. Not easy to contrast the white bird against the snow and you made it very well here. I assume the guy doesn't keep that white in summer.

Another great shot and I love the bright white on white with a little bit of grass poking through the snow. Nice one Jane.
