My husband and I were driving and I saw something small on a powerline. When we drove by, I said it was a Pygmy Owl. So we turned around and pulled over. As soon as I got out of the truck and got my camera ready, a car drove by and the owl spooked. I thought I had missed my chance, but then it flew right towards where I was standing! There was a small forest of trees behind me and it flew right for them, I thought for sure, I wasn't going to see it after that. It decided to stop and land in the first row right behind me. I was so excited and couldn't believe this owl decided to give me a chance. Something I won't forget.
