I came across this little Saw-whet Owl resting within an evergreen by the trail on a cold afternoon. It had nestled itself within the branches and fluffed it's feathers yo keep warm. Comfy in its spot, it snoozed peacefully. I couldn't believe seeing this rare sighting and my fav Owl! I snapped a few pics at a distance respectfully, and continued on. Cropped and zoomed 600mm.
