I decided last minute to stop at a place I have never been before. The sun was just rising over the mountains as I got out of my car. I walked around, stopped at the beach and got some photos of the sunrise, then I heard some ducks, so I walked over to a half frozen pond. Looking up, there were a bunch of eagles sitting within the trees. This one tree had three of them sitting quietly together. I was s happy I went with my gut feeling and stopped here. I walked around one of the trails on the frosty morning, it was so beautiful, I will definitely be going back one day.
