I stopped and watched this coyote as the sun was coming up and pushing the shadows into yesterday. The coyote luckily stopped to look around and was illuminated by the sunrise making it pop against the background. Despite the fact that I was a long was off, it took in my presence and then immediately headed for the cover of the forest alongside the field.
