With the temperature -28 plus a wicked wind the Alberta prairie looks very desolate.

Well done, Clifford!! I can almost hear that wind!! We only have wind chills of -25, but I can relate. Great story telling shot.

Even though it is -28 this is a very beautiful shot Clifford. I fully agree with Dennis, the ice crystals on the fencing and wire tells the story. Manitoba has been stuck in a pretty good deep freeze as well. Looks oh so familiar.

Very good expression of the freesing solitude of the winter in the prairie. I appreciate that you framed the fence so that we see the horizon tiny tree line. The little bit of the white field we see over the fence help to bring a good sense of vastness. Good shot Clifford.

Those old corner fence posts have a character all their own and make for a great shot, Clifford. You captured the chill factor and the mood of a winter day perfectly here. Very nice composition and detail too.

The snow on the barbed wire, posts, and the stubble tell the story. Really Cold! An interesting landscape that feels forlorn.
