Snowy Owls arrive into southern Alberta from November'ish and stay until April when they go back up north to the Arctic tundra. They are a beautiful angelic Owl, where males are mostly white with some spotted brown stripping and the female has many dark stripes and is bigger than the male. This is a female Snowy Owl.
