This winter along the Lower mainland of BC, I found and photographed a lot of Coyotes. I was looking for images of behaviour, Hunting instead of a Coyote just standing in one spot looking at me. On this day we finally got about 6 inches of snow. I know once it snows the Coyotes will be out and about more often. Usually they're quite skittish. I was driving to an area and I stopped and glassed over this marsh area with my binoculars. Within 10 minutes this Coyote came out of the bush. While not hunting, He/she looked at me straight on, Long enough for a photo in the snow. I've seen this one before and usually very far away, Very skittish. I was amazed how close it was and tolerable for a few photos.
