On Saturday late afternoon I noticed some large birds flying pretty far away, I took some photos and zoomed in, finding them to be American White Pelicans. I was so excited, as I was just saying to my husband earlier that morning that I haven't heard them stopping over at another lake. I thought they were flying over to different grounds, but they all landed in the local lagoon right by our place. I photographed them a bit that night, but had a dinner to go to. So got up before the sunrise to get some photos of them before they were on their way to their destination.
