Presenting here a countryside view from my favorite marsh named -Island of the marsh- at the south end of the Magog lake. It was a cold morning and a little fog lifting from the ground gave moody soft tones to the landscape. Since there are plenty of Canada geese around I didn't have to wait long to get one in the photo. (taken april 15 2025 at 8:00)

You got it all Heather. I love that shot for the same reasons you do. Yes it is a lovely place to spend a zen moment with the camera and talk with occasional walkers.
