I had planned to take pictures of swallows that day, but my attention was drawn to a Red-winged Blackbird that every so often flew to the same spot in the bushes, about a meter away from me. When I got closer, I saw a tiny nest with one chick inside. It was patiently waiting for its food, which was brought to it by its mother. It was fascinating to watch how and what she was feeding him.
