This was a very nice surprise. I went for a drive after work and just before dark, not thinking I would see much. I wasn't going to go as far as I did, but had a gut feeling to keep going, and this was that gut feeling. There were three Surf Scoters in the area and they normally aren't in this area, they have stopped once in a while, but its usually just for a stopover and then they are gone the following day. I was so happy to see them when I did.
