For sure a lucky shot. I didn't believed I would succeed but for the fun of it I tried to capture warblers in flight. I had a lot of fun but no success except for this one. In the action I saw someting yellow entering the frame from the left and shot blend. Never took the time to frame the birds or do any setup. I appreciated that the autofocus did not lock on one of the surrounding branches and the speed happend to be 1/3200s. Not well composed but I still proud of it.

Great job on a tricky situation, Yves. Sometimes luck helps....but you still have to be prepared.

Love the action and mood of this shot, Yves. These birds move so fast you don't get time to do much more than focus in on them and hope for the best. You did a great job on this shot.. and got a delightful view of the warblers in flight.

It is always fun to not worry about achieving the perfect shot and just go with what works in the moment. It looks to me like the warblers and the photographer both had some fun and success as well. Glad you had this opportunity Yves.
