I had made a return trip today. To see if the Tree Swallows, I had seen the day previous, were still busy feeding their young in a roadside birdhouse. They where there, as well as the neighbors, a pair of Eastern Bluebirds. This is the male, who seemed most intent on guarding the nest from other visitors.
