The Golden Glance

Bathed in morning sun, a male ring-necked pheasant peers cautiously from the meadow. Nearly invisible—his vivid red wattle frames a golden eye mirroring the center of every perfect daisy surrounding him. Caught in a moment of stillness and light, he watches the world from behind nature’s most beautiful camouflage. A brief, gleaming moment—seen and almost unseen. “Golden Glance” is a quiet celebration of detail, harmony, and the hidden beauty of the wild. It is so hard to get a sharp photo of an eye in such dense vegetation.
