Western Uplands is a difficult and rugged backpacking trail near the entrance into Algonquin Park. While its tough terrain is a deterrent for many one stormy morning this past May we ventured into the trail as a day hike. Through all the mud and root filled paths there lies this beautiful semi natural board walk constructed from split logs.
