Gathering Fibers For The Nest

It took quite an effort for the yellow warbler to pull these strands of bark off a dead branch on a honeysuckle bush. They will be used to line and strengthen the nest. Photo quality is pretty grainy as it was taken a few days ago through a grimy window with heavy smoke in the air but I wanted to share it anyway.

Gorgeous composition of colours and texture Heather. . I like it very much. The cute litle warbler looks very well. Great catch.

Nice work capturing this shot of the Warbler Heather. Very nice composition and depth of field. It is so interesting what birds will use to strengthen and line their nests. The image really does tell the story. PS: I have not tackled my windows yet either. 😌
