A yellow tiger swallowtail collects nectar from lilac blossoms. The adult stage of these butterflies is short, lasting from six to fourteen days. During that time they have to find a mate and the females lay their eggs before time runs out.

Agree all the way with Debra. Like the tight framing. Nice that you got a butterfly in perfect shape because I often see them with damaged wings.
