A male Rose-breasted grosbeak paused for a split second while chasing bugs. I had to be quick to get the shot, so I thought I did well that it turned out at all.

Beautyful grosbeak Jane. The soft green of the background realy help to show off the bird. The bird gave you a very nice pose with the head tilted. You got the black and red very strong. Well done.

Wow, I love this shot Jane. The composition is beautiful, from the line of the leaves, tilt of the head, dof and the soft bokeh. The image is a winner.

Beautiful composition, tones and detail here, Jane. You captured him at the perfect angle to highlight his beautiful markings. Great shot.
