This tiny monarch caterpillar was found on my milkweed plant today. Since monarchs are getting to be 'endangered', I was excited to see this one and a much smaller one. This one less than an inch long, the other one no bigger than the tip of my baby finger. I hope they survive.

Nice capture Jane. Caterpillar are good subjects to photography for the great colours and patterns they have. Like your description to that beautyful one.
