After batting zero on finding any swans on the water today we arrived home to find this mule deer buck feeding on the red clover I let grow for the bees. Luckily we saw him in time so we stayed in the car and I got some photos. Finally.. a lucky strike :)

Awe, I have a real soft spot for these guys. Glad you had the opportunity to photograph and enjoy him. Love the curious look he is giving you. The lighting and composition are perfect. He is looking pretty healthy and handsome with all that velvet. Gorgeous shot Heather.

So cute little guy and you caught very well the curious attitude they have looking at us. Sharp focus and a good lighting. Well done. Heather.
