The young teals venture all over the place far from the mother. The mother will slow down and let them discovers because this harsh terrain is where they will feed on a regular basis. At first I thought they were easy preys but it is not at all. Has you see, It is very difficult to spot them in the large field of lilly pads.

Beautiful view of the lily pads and the young ducklings as they explore their big new world. I love the story you captured in this image, Yves, and agree with Debra that it would look great on your wall. Well done!

I really like this shot Yves. The little ones are camouflaged very nicely amongst the lily pads. The heavy cluster of pads in the bottom left corner makes a beautiful foreground leading to the mother watching over the little ones further into the frame. I can’t quite explain it but I think this image would look wonderful printed and framed.
