We had just finished soaking up the sun and watching whales off in the distance, and on the walk back to the car, I noticed this sweet bird among the rocks and moss. I quickly grabbed my camera and managed to get a few frames. Funny how sometimes the unexpected moments turn out to be the most memorable.
