I Walk Alone

I saw some grouse crossing the road and the tracks were right above where they were headed. I instantly got a vision in mind and wanted to see if it was possible to have come to life. I crawled up the bank and quietly walked over to the tracks. That's when the grouse lined itself up perfectly on the track and the last bit of sunlight was shining over the mountain and through some trees. It was dropping fast, so I didn't get many photos of the effect of the sun, so I was very happy to have gotten this shot.
