    Between 5 and 5:30 a.m. on August 20, 2025, I took this photo of a lovely planetary alignment with the crescent moon. In the yellow band by the horizon, about mid-photo, we can just barely see rose-orange Mercury. Just below the moon to the right is Venus; above the moon to the right is Jupiter.
