As I was leaving to take our dogs to the lake, a Great Blue Heron flew over and landed in the creek by the road. I stopped my car, got out quietly and walked to the edge of the road, I spotted the Heron walking along the creek and it was headed in my direction. It walked a little ways and tucked in behind some grass to do some fishing, I took that as my cue to leave and continued on my way.
