The soft rippling of the marsh grass reflecting in the pond drew my attention to this little sweetheart floating in the warmth of the sunshine. AI tells me this is a juvenile mute swan. She seemed to be the only bird like this. I am not sure if she has been separated from her family. Your thoughts are welcome on what kind of water bird this might be.

Very interesting shot.. and bird, Debra. Such a peaceful scene with the shimmering ripples and beautiful tones surrounding this lovely young bird. From a distance it certainly has swan features but it's hard to say for sure. Very nicely captured.

Calm and serene shot Debra. Very moody. Agree with you about the beautyful reflection on the rippling water. The bird is nicely position here. Appreciate the light blue ripples (Botom right corner) that pairs with the same colour around the bird. Great compo.
