The family of 4 ducklings came in from the stand still water of a bypass in the river(botom of photo). The mother wants the kids to climb up to the main stream of the river (top of the photo). The guys finaly made it through and joined the mother. Here the mother is now moving to the next higher step and each guy seem to choose is own way up.

This looks pretty daunting to me and I can just imagine how it must have been for the ducklings. What a great shot, Yves.

One on the right looks to be a little more adventurous and courageous. But mom is doing a great job leading and watching. The rocks and moving water add so much interest to the image. A very nice action filled story and image.
