It was a very foggy day in Winnipeg. The mist hung low over the fields, softening the rising sun and casting a hazy glow through the trees. Along the water, the fog was so dense it nearly swallowed the docks, leaving only faint outlines of posts and planks fading into the gray. The entire landscape felt quiet, muted, and dreamlike, as if the city had been wrapped in a blanket of stillness.
