While out exploring, I was lucky enough to quietly observe this young red fox kit pausing in the woods. Taken with my Nikon Z6ii paired with an 800mm prime lens and cropped in post. I ensured I kept a respectful distance to allow the kits to go about their day undisturbed. Wild encounters like these remind me how important it is to let wildlife remain wild — we’re just visitors in their world.
