Coyote and the Salmon in Squamish , BC

Along the river where eagles gather to fish for salmon, I witnessed a different kind of hunter at work. While an eagle missed its dive, this coyote pulled its own catch from the water and enjoyed a well-earned feast on the riverbank. Nature always finds balance — every creature playing its role in the ecosystem.
