I was on my way home after work, a little later than usual, so I know I missed the moon as it first rose above the mountains. As I was driving, I could see the moon, above the tree line, but still big and beautiful. Technically, not full yet, it was to reach full illumination by the following morning at 5am, so this was the closest I was going to get to seeing the full Beaver Supermoon. I got home, got my dogs ready and we went for their after work walk, I stopped a lot along the way, to take photos of the moon and tried different techniques to capture the moon in all its glory. There is some tall grass along the road and I wanted to try something new, so I knelt down on the grown and positioned myself so that the moon was behind the grass stalks.
