This buck appeared to be exhausted and scraped up. Yet he kept walking down the trail actively sniffing the ground in an effort to track a doe. Less cautious at this stage of the rut, he did still stop to take a glance at the noise behind him.

Super shot Debra. The pale lighted ground make him stand out beautyfully. Is it a hazard that he turn his head the right side. I don't think so. Something has changed with you recent photos. I'd say your more connected and Mother Nature is now presenting you better opportunity.
