In the past I had thought that the buck was putting the moves on the doe. However, I recently read that a doe will use various techniques of vocalizations, deposit scents and lead the buck on a chase before the mating process. Here she was having a great time leading the buck.

Great sharp action photo. It seems that there is something universal about both the 'tease' and the 'frustration'. :)
