    The Alpha male coyote watches nearby as a young coyote pup gets his share of the recent deer kill on Boxing Day in rural Ottawa. A female was also with the small pack but started retreating to the tree line, having already had her share. The next day while driving by, there is no carcass in sight. Whatever was left over from the kill was being eaten by a murder of crows.
