Short-eared Owls are still here in Central BC

The short-eared owls are still here in central BC, most likely due to the dismal amount of snow we have this year. The fields have lots of grass showing through allowing them to continue to hunt easily. I'm sure the owls will stay as long as they have access to a good food source!
