Winter birds are coming to my yard and feeder because we have a least a foot of snow on the ground....and it's FREEZING!! (-19C last I checked) I love the tilt of this finches head, and the way the light hit her. Snow on her beak is how they get water, I'm guessing.

Awe, very cute bird and capture Jane. Feathers are nicely fluffed up to help keep him warm. Love the snow on the nose and tilt to the head. Lots of character in the shot. You timed this shot perfectly.
