The last couple of days parts of Manitoba have encountered the right weather conditions to produce rime ice. I had ventured out in the morning to look for a group of bald eagles just south east of Winnipeg. I did find a couple of the eagles dispersed through out the area. The bald eagle stands out so nicely against the rime ice.

What a great shot of this eagle, it is so nicely composed, Well done Debra
Love that pose of the Eagle surrounded with rime ice. Nice clear view of the guy. Appreciate the white tips of the feathers that (kind of) match the rime ice. Glad you had that nice oportunity and a great shot.
He really does stand out, Debra. Normally, it's the white head and tail you notice, but not in this case. Great focus on the bird....neat surroundings.
