At first, the northern hawk owl felt too far - a tiny silhouette even at 600mm, perched high and untouchable. Then the sky shifted. Caws erupted. Six crows swarmed in, filling the frame. Dive-bombing, testing, harassing. The owl didn't flinch. No panic. No retreat. Just calm, locked-in focus. One by one, the crows gave up and peeled away.
