I am visiting family, and my brother asked if I wanted to go with him on a work call on Hornby Island. I have never been before, so I of course, said yes. We left early in the morning, got on the first of 2 ferries to get there, and that's when the fog started rolling in. It was so thick, you could see it moving between the cars on the ferry, very eerie. We get to Hornby and the job site is ocean front, so I grab my cameras and head out for the beach. I spend some time on the beach and then one of the locals at the job site said I should walk the beach the other way and walk the Helliwell trail. My brother said he was going to be a bit still, so I took the advice and headed out. The trailhead said it was about an hour and a half to complete the trail and with that, started walking. The views were stunning, I couldn't believe I was still in BC, it felt like another country and I think the fog made it even more dramatic. It took me longer to do the trail, there was just so many beautiful spots to check out and take it all in.
