I am visiting family, and my brother asked if I wanted to go with him on a work call on Hornby Island. I have never been before, so I of course, said yes. We left early in the morning, got on the first of 2 ferries to get there, and that's when the fog started rolling in. It was so thick, you could see it moving between the cars on the ferry, very eerie. We get to Hornby and the job site is ocean front, so I grab my cameras and head out for the beach. The beach was nearly all sandstone with rocks embedded into it, I have never seen anything like it. Within the sandstone, there were large holes and they were filled with ocean water and sea life. I wanted to get a photo underwater, but all I had was my phone that was more or less waterproof. I stuck my phone in the water just enough for the camera to be halfway under, as I wanted to capture the sea anemones and the top of the rock, this is the result of that technique.
