A group of youth from Kwadacha, B.C., load canoes ahead of a ten-day descent of the Gataga River. The Gataga is one of the most remote rivers in the province and crosses through the heart of Tse'kene and Kaska territory in the Muskwa-Kechika Management Area, the largest protected area in North America south of 60°.
