I love how 2026 has started for me. After photographing a Great Gray Owl not long ago, I’ve now been fortunate to spend time with these stunning Snowy Owls in Alberta. What makes this even more special is the journey behind it. I visited this location several times during the winter months of 2025 without a single sighting. Not once. But over the past few days, every visit has been rewarded with the presence of a snowy. This one gave me a brief golden glance mid-flight!
