A family of Cooper's Hawks have made their home in a small park near my house in Ottawa, and I have had the privilege of seeing the family grow up over the course of 2025. This young hawk is learning how to hunt, testing their limits on local squirrel population. In this moment, the hawk missed their prey, and crash-landed.
