As I was walking in the forest, I came across this barred owl. She was cleaning herself and getting ready to hunt. I stopped at a good distance from her to observe her but she must have heard me. She suddenly lifted her head and looked directly at me with that defiant look, as if to say « how dare you come in my forest human ? »
