It was brilliant outside with bright sunshine, and -15*C + windchill. I spotted about 30 gorgeous Bohemian Waxwings braving the winds atop the tall trees on the river bank and was intrigued by their communication. On a cue unknown to me, they would suddenly descend as a group to feast on Juniper berries below then on the river bank. Of course I couldn't resist so I bundled up and went out to grab a few frames!
