A breathtaking view from the cab of Locomotive #8704 as it glides across the wide‑open Alberta Prairie, the rails stretching ahead like a promise. The sun sinks low, flooding the landscape with that unmistakable golden‑hour glow—fields shimmering, shadows lengthening, and the whole world taking on the quiet, timeless magic that only the prairie can deliver.

Great vanishing point Clifford. Looking at it the feeling pair your beautyful description dead on. Special mention to the shining spikes in the foreground, the edge of the corn field and that dark sky (specialy chosen by you I am sure)

Makes one wonder where those tracks converge, as it seems they must. Lovely photo.
