A pair of North American Beavers emerged out of the melting ice surrounding its habitat to munch on their dwindling food supply of twigs and branches collected and cached next to their lodge to get them through the winter months. As you can see they did pretty well and look nice and healthy! There was also a third Beaver , the youngsters stay around until they are 2 yrs of age. Ontario, Canada
