Safe Place

These wild/feral foals are part of one of the bands that call the Ghost River Equine Management zone of Alberta Canada, home. Under constant threat from predators, extreme cold in winter, habit loss from logging and competing foraging with livestock along with government sanctioned removal and culling, moments like this one that remind us, that these wild horses share strong family bonds and that scenes like this one will have the potential to be lost forever should human intervention continue.
